Phillip Woods
Executive VP, US Operations
Phillip leads the RMS forest management and harvesting operations on 2.6 million acres across the southern US. He brings more than 30 years of professional forestry experience to RMS. Following 15 years in the forest products industry, Phillip joined RMS in 1993 and served as a regional manager for Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana. From 2001 through 2003, he led a dedicated account team for RMS that oversaw all forest planning, budgeting, operations, risk management, sustainability audits, cash management, accounting and reporting on approximately 1.3 million acres across the US South. A member of RMS Board of Managers, Executive Council and Investment Committee, Phillip is a registered forester in Alabama and is a member of the Society of American Foresters. He received his Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from Auburn University and serves on the university's School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences Advisory Council.
