Danny Norman
Manager, US Harvest Operations
Danny joined RMS in October, 2006 after spending 27 years with Smurfit Stone in various management, procurement and operations jobs in Alabama and Virginia. His work included four years as Regional Wood Procurement Manager at Smurfit's Hopewell and West Point, Virginia mills. A 1974 Auburn University grad, Danny began his career with a small family sawmill in eastern Alabama. He followed that with time at Hercules, Inc., where he bought lightered pine for its Mississippi operation. Danny is a registered forester in Alabama, a former board member of the Virginia and Alabama Forestry associations and the Wood Supply Research Institute. He now serves on national committees for the Forest Resources Association.
