Bruno Fritschi
President and CEO
A pioneer in the development of forestland as an asset class over the past 40 years, Bruno is RMS' third president since its founding in 1950. Bruno oversees strategic planning as well as the team of senior managers who carry out the plan. Since joining RMS in 1967, Bruno has been active in essentially all aspects of forest management and investment. In the 1980s, he helped develop a groundbreaking strategic alliance with the Hancock Timber Resource Group which thrived through 2003. In 1995, Bruno was named President and Chief Executive Officer of RMS, and he was elected Chairman of the Board in 2001. Since 1995, Bruno has led RMS in the development of new systems for more cost-effective forest management, and a re-invention of its business model as a timberland investment management organization. Bruno is a Forest Science graduate of Colorado State University, a registered forester, and a member of the Society of American Foresters. In 1996, he received the Honor Alumni Award from Colorado State University's College of Natural Resources.
