Fabio Brun
Managing Director, South America

Fabio joined RMS in June 2008 after working for 4 years as Director, Latin America, with forestry biotech company ArborGen LLC, being responsible for the establishment of that company’s business in South America. Prior to that, Fabio worked for International Paper and Champion International, serving in a number of forestry operational and R&D managerial positions, in Brazil and in the US. In total, Fabio has 15 years of operational and technical experience in forestry with eucalypt and pine in South and North America. He has participated as company representative in several Brazilian and international entities, such as ABRAF, IPEF, SIF, ANBio, CAMCORE and others. He also authored a chapter for the first published Brazilian book on intellectual property aspects of forestry biotech. He holds a B.S. Degree in Forest Management from Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), completed in 1994, and a M.Sc. Degree in Supply Planning/Mathematical Harvest Scheduling from Escola Superior de Agricultura “Luis de Queiróz”, Universidade de São Paulo (ESALQ-USP), completed in 2002. His international experience includes several courses and technical/professional visits within the US, Canada, England, Portugal, South Africa, New Zealand, Mexico, Venezuela, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay.
